12 Night cruise departing roundtrip from Cape Town onboard Azamara Journey.

Begin your journey in Cape Town—meandering its cosmopolitan streets tucked beneath Table Mountain—before setting sail along South Africa’s coast. Choose from specialty dining venues and a collection of fine wines during a day at sea.

Awaken in Port Elizabeth to discover its storied history on the Donkin Heritage Trail, and visit the animal sanctuary of Addo Elephant National Park. From the town of East London, uncover the white-sand beaches and dunes of the Sunshine and Wild Coasts.

Spend another leisurely day at sea, as you pamper yourself in Sanctum Spa. Arrive in Maputo, Mozambique, to discover colonial-era architecture and the Old Town markets, parks, and shops. In Richards Bay, go on a safari at Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, home to Africa’s “big five” animals and the largest white rhino population on Earth.

Next, it’s off to Durban, where you can relax on the sandy Golden Mile or go on a tour of traditional Zulu homesteads. Then, we return to Cape Town following two final days at sea.

With a two-night stay here, you’ll have plenty of time to explore this capital city set on two oceans. Learn about Cape Town’s past and apartheid history, enjoy countless outdoor adventures from mountain peaks to rugged coasts, and sip your way around the world-renowned Cape Winelands.
