Djúpivogur is a small town and municipality (Djúpavogshreppur) located on a peninsula in eastern Iceland, near the island of Papey and on the fjord Berufjörður. Overlooked by Mt Bulandstindur,its rocks are amongst the oldest in Iceland, formed from the extinct Breiddalur volcano.
Djúpivogur offers visitors breathtaking mountains, wildlife, valleys and beaches. The area has diverse birdlife, great for bird watching and hiking.
