Hellesylt is a small village located in the Stranda muncipality of Norway; a part of the Møre and Romsdal County in the western part of Norway. It lies at the head of the Sunnylvsfjord, which is a branch of the Storfjord (Great Fjord), and which the more famous Geirangerfjord in turn, branches off nearby.

The village on the mountain sides at the end of the Sunnylvsfkprd is exceptionally picturesque. The Hellesylt waterfall gushes right through the centre of the town into the Fiord. This waterfall is one of the most photographed sites in Norway.

The shopping facilities in Hellesylt are good for its size, with two supermarkets, a snack bar, a cafe, and a gas station. The local hotel has a café, pub, restaurant and occasional disco with live-music.
