Honningsvag is situated in Nordkapp municipality, Norway. It is one of the northernmost communities in Europe and is located at a bay on the southern side of Magerøya island, while the famous North Cape and its visitors center is on the northern side. It sits on the edge of a treeless windswept terrain surrounded by snow fences to protect it from avalanches. The village is set in a land of vast forests, dramatic fjords and crashing waterfalls.
Tourists visiting Honningsvag come during the summer to experience the wonders of the Midnight Sun. Other attractions include fjords, mountains and the North Cape, where cliffs rise over 1,000 feet above the Arctic Ocean.
