Day 1: Powell River to Klahoose Wilderness Resort (D)
Arrive at Powell River airport and transfer to Lund, then
travel by boat to the resort. Stay the next three nights at
Klahoose Wilderness Resort.
Days 2-3: Klahoose Wilderness Resort (BLD)
Prepare yourself for an experience unlike any other.
Embark on several adventures and transformational
experiences that may include watching grizzly bears fish
for salmon, kayaking beside a pod of porpoises and
forest hikes into an ancient western red cedar grove.
Inlets of the Desolation Sound are famous for one of the
most populations of grizzlies in the world.
Day 4: Klahoose Wilderness Resort to Powell River (B)
Transfer by boat to Lund and transfer to Powell
River airport.

GREAT BEAR LODGE

Day 1: Port Hardy to Great Bear Lodge (D)
Transfer from Port Hardy to Great Bear Lodge by
seaplane. Be met by your hosts and enjoy your first
wildlife viewing experience. Stay the next three nights at
Great Bear Lodge.
Days 2-3: Great Bear Lodge (BLD)
Take part in bear viewing excursions, accompanied
by an experienced wildlife biologist. Observe bears in
their natural habitat while floating by boat or watch from
specially-designed optimal viewing areas. Keep a close
eye out for other wildlife such as wolves, otters, bald
eagles and mink.
Day 4: Great Bear Lodge to Port Hardy (BL)
Participate in a final bear watching session before taking
a seaplane to Port Hardy in the afternoon. Overnight in
Port Hardy.
Day 5: Port Hardy
Transfer to the airport where your tour concludes.
