FREE DAILY ACTIVITIES
Ayers Rock Resort includes Sails in the Desert,
Desert Gardens Hotel, The Lost Camel, Emu
Walk Apartments and Outback Hotel. The resort
offers a range of free activities for guests to learn
about Indigenous culture and traditions. Take
part in guided walks, storytelling, didgeridoo
workshops, bush food demonstrations and visit
the Gallery of Central Australia. These activities
operate daily and don’t require a booking. It is
recommended that you check with reception on
arrival for up-to-date activity information.

ANANGU COMMUNITIES
FOUNDATION
Ayers Rock Resort has a strong commitment to
social responsibility and established the Anangu
Communities Foundation (previously known as
the Mutitjulu Foundation) in 2003. The foundation Sails in the Desert
aims to raise money to fund projects that benefit
Anangu communities. The foundation’s goals
are to remove disadvantage by supporting the
local communities in the vitally important areas
of health, education, economic prosperity and
social participation.
A voluntary donation can be charged to
your room to assist the foundation to reach
these goals.
