KINGS CANYON
Much more than a day trip, Kings Canyon
is an essential component of any Central
Australian holiday. Towering 300 metre
high sandstone walls, palm filled crevices
and views that stretch far beyond
the horizon create an awe-inspiring
amphitheatre just waiting to be explored.
Watarrka National Park is on the traditional
lands of the Matutjara people, who have
resided in the region for over 20,000 years.
The park’s spectacular, rugged landscape
is a haven to more than 600 native species
of plant and animals.
