Adventures is the best place to see crocodiles and local
wildlife in Tropical North Queensland. Spot kangaroos,
wallabies, wombats, cassowaries and koalas as you
walk along the boardwalks winding through Melaleuca
Wetlands, Eucalypt Woodland and Riverine rainforest.
Enjoy the entertaining and educational wildlife
presentations and take a boat cruise through Hartley’s
lagoon.

FRIENDS IN THE RAINFOREST
Situated within the Heritage Markets in the heart of
Kuranda Village, Kuranda Koala Gardens offers the
opportunity to hold or pat a koala (extra charge) plus
meet kangaroos and wallabies in a free range enclosure.
See the rare Greater Bilby, the Northern Bettong,
Mahogany Glider and more in the Nocturnal Wonders
exhibit. You will also view wombats, quokkas, freshwater
crocodiles, pythons, frogs and lizards.
Mid-morning, take the opportunity to join the Glider
Feeding and Nocturnal Wonders Keeper tour. Watch the
lovable wombats enjoy their afternoon tea of vegetables
during the Koala and Wombat Talk. If you like reptiles,
there is an opportunity to get a photo holding a python
(extra charge).
Next door, Birdworld Kuranda is a free flight aviary
housing a dazzling array of native Australian and
spectacular rare and exotic species from the
disappearing tropical rainforest habitats of the world. GREAT AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE
Spend time observing the birds in the grounds of the EXPERIENCE
lush tropical gardens. This pass is a self drive option only that allows entrance
into Birdworld Kuranda, Kuranda Koala Gardens and
