Step back in time and travel in style aboard the restored 1960s ‘Aurora Australis’ sleeping
train. Celebrate Australia’s diverse history and rich culture with visits to regional towns,
gardens and attractions. Travel on rail lines which don’t have scheduled passenger services,
making this a real adventure.
By day, relax in the comfort of your compartment or mingle with fellow guests in the dining
or lounge carriages. Enjoy regional cuisine, freshly prepared by onboard chefs using locally
sourced produce. The onboard staff will do their best to ensure you are able to dine with your
preferred travel companions at one of two sittings. The lounge car is the perfect place to enjoy
a pre or post dinner drink or watch the passing scenery.
OFF-TRAIN EXCURSIONS Twinette
Each rail tour allows you to tailor the experience you are looking for by offering a range of off-train
excursions to choose from. Enjoy an off-train excursion in the picturesque Hunter Valley on the Golden
West Rail Tour. The Riverina Rail Tour offers off-train excursions in both Goulburn and Griffith.
