INTERISLAND FLIGHTS
A visit to the Cook Islands is not complete without
exploring the beautiful islands of Aitutaki, Atiu, Mangaia
and Mitiaro. Air Rarotonga offers regular scheduled
services from Rarotonga.
Aitutaki is the Cook Islands’ best kept secret – a
gleaming, natural wonder with one of the world’s most
spectacular lagoons at its centre. Atiu and Mangaia are
a bird watchers paradise; discover limestone caves,
secluded coves and white sand beaches, while the
island of Mitiaro is the least populated.
Air Rarotonga flies from Rarotonga to Aitutaki four times
per day from Monday to Saturday and three times on
Sunday with a flight time of 45 minutes. Flights to Atiu
take 45 minutes and operate three times a week. The
flight time to Mangaia from Rarotonga is 40 minutes
with three flights per week, while flights to Mitiaro take
50 minutes and operate twice a week.
