FIJI’S NEW-LOOK MV REEF ENDEAVOUR IS SURE TO PLEASE
Captain Cook Cruises Fiji’s MV Reef Endeavour, which
hosts three-, four-, seven- and eleven-night cruises
around the Mamanuca, Yasawa and remote northern
Islands of Fiji, has just undergone a $2-million
refurbishment.
Overseen by Maree de Latour from the leading New
Zealand interiors business, Furnz, the ship’s new look
included a refreshing of all the suites, state rooms
and cabins including new blinds, mirrors, cushions
and linens and wall art by marine photographic artist,
Wendy Morris.
The sun deck of the MV Reef Endeavour has also been
completely refurbished with new carpet, a Jacuzzi
and windbreak glass to protect the alfresco dining
area. The entire ship is also resplendent with a new
coat of paint.
SEABOURN QUEST OPENS NEW SIGNATURE RESTAURANT
Seabourn, one of the world’s finest ultra-luxury cruise
lines, has just opened its new signature restaurant, The
Grill by Thomas Keller, on Seabourn Quest.
With a menu, wine list and ambience inspired by a
classic American chophouse, The Grill is a collaboration,
exclusively for Seabourn, between three-star Michelin
chef Thomas Keller and renowned hospitality designer,
Adam D. Tihany. Located on Deck 8, in the space formerly
occupied by Restaurant 2, The Grill focuses on updated
versions of iconic dishes where guests are treated to
chophouse classics as well as a range of other steakhouse
favourites. The menu draws on many artisan suppliers
and the wine list, which features more than 90 selections
from around the world, has been created by Chef Keller
to complement each dish. The interior design of the
restaurant enhances the dining experience with spaces
that are distinctive to the ship.
The Grill is open for dinner daily, and guests will have the
opportunity to secure reservations online in advance of
their cruise. In keeping with Seabourn’s all-inclusive rates,
there is no additional charge to dine at The Grill.
