INTERCITY COACHLINES
InterCity has been transporting visitors around New Zealand for more than 30 years
and are now the country’s largest coach network. They offer departures to over 600
cities, towns and communities across the North and South Islands, with over 130
services daily. All coaches are modern, spacious, comfortable and air-conditioned,
specifically designed for the New Zealand climate. Take advantage of the free Wi-Fi,
available throughout the entire fleet (conditions apply).
InterCity offers you freedom, choice, flexibility and great value for money.
Point To Point Travel:
The InterCity coach network covers all parts of New Zealand and can take you almost
anywhere you wish to travel with point to point fares.
Flexipass:
Flexipasses are available in blocks of hours allowing you to travel virtually anywhere
in New Zealand seven days a week, 365 days a year on any InterCity or Newmans
service. Enjoy one of New Zealand’s most flexible transport passes, allowing you to
hop-off and hop-on anywhere you like, within the bus network. To make it easier to
travel between the North and South Islands, ferry trips on the Interislander Ferry are
also included in the Flexipass.
Passes are valid for 12 months from date of activation and changes are permitted up
to two hours prior to travel. Ask you travel agent for details.

INTERISLANDER FERRY
Interislander travels between the North and South Islands of New Zealand and is one
of the most spectacular cruises in the world. With 92 kilometres of breathtaking views,
the three hour journey between Wellington and Picton really is one of New Zealand’s
most iconic travel experiences.
Take a stroll on the decks, enjoy a meal, a drink or even catch the latest movie
releases. Or just relax and take in the breathtaking views. Children are well catered
for with a play area, nursery, cartoons and video games. Plus there’s plenty of seating
for families.
Interislander Plus Lounges are the most comfortable way to cross Cook Strait.
An Interislander Plus ticket includes access to a quiet, child free lounge with
complimentary food, beer, wine, tea and coffee, newspapers and magazines,
plus comfortable seating, and Sky TV.
Taking a vehicle with Interislander is as easy as parking in a car park building – just
drive on and drive off. As well as the convenience of taking your vehicle, there are no
luggage restrictions. If you prefer not to take a car, there are car rental companies
located in the ferry terminal and bus and train connections within walking distance.
