CYCLE THE REISLING TRAIL
Originally a railway line running between Adelaide
and Spalding, the Riesling Trail is one of the first
rail-trails to be developed in South Australia.
Stretching for 33 kilometres, the southern
terminus is the restored Auburn Railway Station,
now home to Mount Horrock Wines. The trail
passes through townships and villages, past
cellar doors and galleries, pubs and general South Australian Tourism Commission/Harry Vick
stores. Cycling the route will take around four
and a half hours but allow time to wine taste
along the way. It is a unique way to explore the
