TOURS – DIVE THE GREAT BARRIER REEF

3 DAY E-LEARNING PADI COURSE
Learn to dive at your convenience. Firstly, complete the
theory component online with PADI’s learning program.
The online e-Learning platform allows students to
complete the theory component of the course at their
own convenience before arriving. Once completed,
join Quicksilver Dive’s 3 Day Learn to Dive Course.
It comprises one day of pool training followed by
four mandatory training dives on the reef and two
‘just for fun’ dives.
Day one is spent at the Dive Centre Port Douglas,
learning the practical skills of scuba diving in the state-of-
the-art heated pool. On days two and three, travel on the
Poseidon to complete open water training at our three
different sites on the outer Great Barrier Reef, at stunning
Agincourt Ribbon Reef. Clients will complete four training
dives followed by two certified fun dives. With showers, a
licensed bar, air-conditioned saloon and open deck areas,
the Poseidon makes a perfect setting to enjoy the reef.

• PADI Open Water material (e-Learning)
• 2 days open water training on the Great Barrier Reef
(6 dives completed)

3 DAY 2 NIGHT LIVEABOARD
With this three day dive adventure, you’ll truly immerse
yourself in the Great Barrier Reef, visiting remote sites
selected for their extravagance of marine life and excellent
visibility. For certified divers, this liveaboard trip offers up
to 11 dives including two exciting night dives as well as
great snorkelling on a variety of 19 Outer Reef sites.
Diving at different times throughout the day, you will be
able to experience the incredible marine biodiversity the
Great Barrier Reef is renowned for. Stay on a purpose-
built vessel with a spacious dive and sundeck, hot fresh
water showers, air-conditioned interior and free Wi-Fi.
With a maximum of 32 guests, cabins onboard are all
twin share (two single bunk beds) and there are two
double cabins (one double bed) available upon request.

• 2 nights twin share cabin accommodation
• 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners
• 11 dives (weather permitting) • Dive insurance
