Commence this adventure with a scenic drive up the coast and take in beautiful views
of the Coral Sea. Head north to Mossman Gorge located in the southern Daintree
National Park. Participate in the Welcome to Country with the traditional land owners,
the Kuku Yalanji people, who will cleanse evil spirits with a smoking ceremony.
Visit the Daintree and enjoy a guided rainforest walk, jungle surfing through the canopy
and a Daintree River Crossing. Spend a morning on the Great Barrier Reef with Ocean
Safari and taste amazing ice-cream flavoured with tropical delights such as Dragonfruit,
Black sapote and rainforest honey.

CASSOWARY COAST ESCAPE
3 NIGHTS
Pick-up your rental car upon arrival in Cairns and drive two hours (140 kilometres)
from Cairns to Mission Beach. The next day, board your Mission Beach Dive water
taxi at 8:30am for a full day reef exploration around Dunk Island. Upon arrival at Dunk
Island, transfer to the MV Reef Goddess for a day of snorkelling before returning to
Mission Beach.
Visit Historic Herberton Village and be prepared to be wowed. The village features more
than 60 lovingly restored period buildings as well as antique motor vehicles, turn of the
century machinery and small engines. With quirky Australian collectibles, olden day
machinery, vehicles and thousands of genuine antique items, the village is regarded as
one of the most significant outdoor museums in Australia. Return to Cairns and drop-
off the rental car at the airport.
