The collection features more than 60 original buildings
replicating a tin mining town complete with shops,
a functioning tearoom, pub, bank, chemist, garage,
printer, newsagent and more.
With quirky Australian collectibles, olden day machinery,
vehicles and thousands of genuine antique items, the
village is regarded as one of the most significant outdoor
museums in Australia.
Also on display are mint condition antique motor vehicles,
turn of the century working machinery, small engines,
rare John Deere tractors and more. Hear, feel and see the
past through the working displays, including the village
blacksmith, newspaper printer and working sawmill. Don’t
miss the homestyle cooking at the Bakerville Tearooms
and savour the beauty of 130 year old Elderslie House
with its spacious verandas and elegant architecture.
