MORNINGTON PENINSULA TOURS
ARTHURS SEAT EAGLE
The Arthurs Seat Eagle Cable Car ride has been soaring
the heights of Arthurs Seat on the Mornington Peninsula
since December 2016. The Eagle experience gives
scenic views across Port Phillip Bay, looking towards
the Melbourne skyline and beyond. Ride inside a state-
of-the-art gondola from the base station near Dromana
passing over beautiful State Park to the summit,
314 metres above sea level.
Named in honour of the Wedge-tailed Eagle, indigenous
to the area and revered in local Aboriginal lore, The
Eagle offers uninterrupted sea views, framed by swaying
Manna Gums and the trace of distant coastlines. Enjoy
your flight as you are surrounded by a truly majestic
Australian landscape and you may even spot some
native animals. Glide through the sky above the forest
floor, travelling in comfortable, all weather and fully
accessible cabins. It’s an awe-inspiring journey as you
ascend quietly up the mountain to the summit station.
Enjoy a quality, casual dining experience at The Eagle
Café. With amazing views from nearly every table and
an expansive outdoor deck there’s plenty of room to sit
with a coffee and a snack or even a local wine or beer.
Explore the nearby walks at Seawinds Gardens within
the Arthurs Seat State Park walks.
