Coogee is one of Sydney’s oldest beachside suburbs and has the last remaining women’s and children’s ocean bath in Australia.
With a buzzy bar and restaurant scene, the beachside neighbourhood in Sydney’s east has a typical Aussie beach vibe. A patrolled
beach makes for great swimming under the supervision of surf lifesavers. Two ocean baths offer calming waters. Coogee is also
where you can start, or finish, the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk. This 6 kilometres picturesque pathway winds along the
headlands, from Bondi Beach, through to the pretty Bronte and Clovelly beaches and on to Gordons Bay. The path then leads over
the headland and on to Coogee Beach, with glittering sea views. It’s a beautiful scenic walk that lends itself to a picnic.
