AMSTERDAM FOG We had a wonderful five-night stay in Amsterdam
in a beautiful apartment on the picturesque

the Heineken Factory. Hiring a bike is a must when
in Amsterdam: we hired tandem bikes and rode
24 kilometres along the bank of the Amstel River
and back. It’s a lovely way to see the numerous
canal houseboats and spot a few windmills. In
Amsterdam, cyclists take priority on the roads
over cars and pedestrians.
