ANZAC TOURS

             ANZAC TOURS

Anzac Cove is a small cove on the Gallipoli peninsula. It became famous as the site of the World War I landing of the ANZAC
(Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) on 25 April 1915. The cove is a mere 600 metres long. Following the landing at Anzac
Cove, the beach became the main base for the Australian and New Zealand troops for eight months during the Battle of Gallipoli.
Today, it is a much visited memorial site for Australians and New Zealanders to pay tribute and learn more about their connection
with Turkey’s past. Official Anzac Day Dawn Parade services are held annually on 25 April at Anzac Cove.
