Day 1: Port Hardy to Great Bear Lodge (D)
Transfer from Port Hardy to Great Bear Lodge by
seaplane. Be met by your hosts and enjoy your first
wildlife viewing experience. Stay the next three nights at
Great Bear Lodge.
Days 2-3: Great Bear Lodge (BLD)
Take part in bear viewing excursions, accompanied
by an experienced wildlife biologist. Observe bears in
their natural habitat while floating by boat or watch from
specially-designed optimal viewing areas. Keep a close
eye out for other wildlife such as wolves, otters, bald
eagles and mink.
Day 4: Great Bear Lodge to Port Hardy (BL)
Participate in a final bear watching session before taking
a seaplane to Port Hardy in the afternoon. Overnight in
Port Hardy.
Day 5: Port Hardy
Transfer to the airport where your tour concludes.

Day 1: Vancouver to Spirit Bear Lodge (LD)
Fly from Vancouver to Bella Bella and be transferred by
a scenic boat ride to Spirit Bear Lodge. This evening
enjoy dinner, drinks and a cultural tour. Stay the next
four nights at Spirit Bear Lodge.
Days 2-4: Spirit Bear Lodge & Great Bear Rainforest (BLD)
Experience daily wildlife viewing adventures. The
activities include wildlife and bear viewing, whale
watching and a visit to a significant cultural site. Visit
estuaries, stunning inlets and see spectacular waterfalls.
Return to the Lodge in time for dinner and beverage
service. Some evenings may include a presentation by
local businesses.
Day 5: Spirit Bear Lodge to Vancouver (BL)
Take in the serenity of Kitasoo Xai’xais Traditional
Territory, and after breakfast, pack up and head to
the traditional Big House for a cultural experience and
traditional farewell. Transfer via boat back to Bella Bella
in time for your flight back to Vancouver.
