WESTERN AUSTRALIA BEACHES WESTERN AUSTRALIA BEACHES

Perth’s average of 3,000 annual hours of sunshine are well and truly soaked up in Scarborough, whether it’s on the beautifully
clean and uncrowded beach, surfing the top breaks, browsing the outdoor weekend markets or breakfasting on a café veranda.
Located on the west coast, an easy 15 minute drive from the Perth central business district, or by bus from the city station,
Scarborough is a place where swimmers and surfboards are the fashion essentials. Mandurah is a dream location for people who
love being on, in or near the water. The area enjoys some of the most spectacular waterways in the country. And the Peel-Harvey
estuary, which is twice the size of Sydney Harbour, is blessed with abundant wildlife, natural beauty, pristine beaches, busy
foreshore areas and beautiful rivers. Visitors and locals alike love exploring the 130 square kilometres of estuary and inland
waterways by hiring a boat, houseboat, kayak, canoe or jet ski or on one of the many cruises. Mandurah is really a water
playground! Broome’s Cable Beach is justifiably world famous for its 22 kilometres of sun-kissed white sand, turquoise water and
spectacular Indian Ocean sunsets. But what really gives it a top spot on the must-do list is the experience of taking in all its tropical
splendour from the seat of a camel train.
