• COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER – provides cover for
Group Vehicle or Similar Doors / seats Rates per day accident damage to the Hertz vehicle. It is subject
to an excess of £900 depending on car group

event of an accident.

• If driving in Central London, a Congestion Charge
applies to all vehicles entering the congestion zone
between 7am-6pm Monday-Friday (excluding public

• Once you have left New Zealand and you wish to
make changes to the rental, these changes will be
charged at the local applicable rate and paid direct.

• If you return your vehicle early, there is no refund for
unused days.

• You have a 29 minute grace period after the
confirmed drop off time before extra hour charges
are incurred. Extra charges will be at the local
applicable rate and paid direct.

Additional Extras

• Hertz recommends that baby, child & booster seats
are hired for children. These can be requested at time
of booking and cost £10 + tax for baby & child seats
to a maximum of $70 + tax. Cost for booster seat is
£4.17 + tax per day to a maximum charge of £29.18 +
tax (subject to change).

• Additional Driver Fee is £10 + tax per day to a
maximum charge of £100 + tax paid direct (subject to
change).

• Selected vehicles can be taken on one-way hires
within Mainland UK at no additional charge. Contact
us for One Way Fees to locations outside Mainland
UK.

• Additional charges apply if you take your vehicle from
Mainland UK to Northern Ireland, Western Europe or
Southern Ireland. These charges are subject to
change and confirmation on collection and do vary
depending on the size of car and length of time you
are abroad. Prices from £60 + VAT.
