Ellise Buckley

Hello! My name is Ellise and I hail from the thriving metropolis of Levin. I have been in the travel industry since 2009 and with helloworld Travel Palmerston North since 2018.

I completed a certificate in Tourism, Travel and Business from NZ School of Tourism (formally Sir George Seymour College of Tourism & Travel), graduating with distinction. In March 2023 I graduated from UCOL/Te Pukenga with a NZ Diploma in Business – Leadership & Management, where Kim, Berta and I studied during the years of covid taking the challenging and quiet period to our advantage.

I have travelled extensively throughout Australia and the South Pacific, my most recent trip was to Uluru, Alice Springs and Great Barrier Reef, which was absolutely incredible. Camel riding through the desert at sunrise in Uluru, was an experience I will treasure.  My favourite travel memory was seeing Celine Dion live at Ceasar’s Palace in Las Vegas and touring to the Grand Canyon. I next plan to travel to Canada and Alaska, cruising the inside passage and training from Vancouver to Toronto. Although, Disneyland is high on my wish list – so a sneaky trip may need to happen!
