Day 1:  Opatija - Rab

We depart Opatija at 1300HRS and cruise towards Rab, the “Island of Love”. Sightseeing of the Old Town, encircled by medieval walls, Romanesque church towers, churches, palaces, stone streets and ancient facades. Enjoy the “gallery” on the streets and squares where many painters and artists exhibit their works. Guided city tour followed by Rab Cake demonstration and tasting, as according to the legend, the recipe for Rab Cake was created by nuns in the monastery when catering to the visiting Pope. (L, T)

Day 2:  Rab - Zadar

After breakfast we proceed to Zadar, the oldest university town in Croatia, well known for its rich historical heritage, visible on every step. The Roman Forum from the 1st century, St Donatus church from the 9th century - the most famous medieval basilica and the symbol of the city, mighty city walls with a bow and a representative city gate from 16th century, the Museum of ancient glass, over 30 churches in the old town, many palaces and villas, as well as the famous Sea Organs and “Greetings to the Sun” light installation, both located on the city’s waterfront from where the magnificent sunset can be experienced. Guided city tour followed by Maraschino liquor tasting. (B, L, T)

Day 3:  Zadar - Krka Waterfalls - Šibenik

Cruise towards Skradin from where a coach takes us to the famous Bibich winery for wine tasting and light tapas lunch. On return to Skradin take a walk through the Krka Waterfalls National Park and visit “Skradinski Buk”, the most popular part of the waterfall area, where in 17 falls, with up to 100m broad cascades, the Krka rushes 45.7m down. Bring your bathing suit and take a swim in the clear waters of the River Krka just below the falls, a truly unique experience! Afternoon sail towards Šibenik, situated almost at central part of the Croatian Adriatic coast. Abundant in historical and cultural monuments, most important being the Cathedral of St James, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Evening is at leisure to explore Šibenik with dinner served onboard. (B, T, D)

Day 4:  Šibenik - Split

Cruise continues to Split, the UNESCO protected capital of Dalmatian region and the second largest city in Croatia that was once the palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Upon arrival, local guide will take us for a walk through the bustling Old Town centre and the market. (B, L)

Day 5:  Split - Metković

Cruise to Metković, situated on the bank of great River Neretva, followed by a barge ride to explore more of the wonderful scenery known for mandarin plantations. Visit Vid and the archaeological museum Narona, formally inaugurated in 2007 as the first “in situ“ museum in Croatia, exhibiting the remains of a Roman temple, the Augusteum and 17 marble statues, both outsized and in natural height. Discover places where the ancient Illyrians, Greeks, Romans once sailed, and the pirates of Neretva planned their raids of enemy galleys. Discover the allure of one of the last swamps on the European continent, its flora and fauna, the diversity of wild birds and the traditional lifestyle of the Neretva people. Captain’s dinner with live entertainment onboard is planned here in the evening. (B, L, D)

Day 6:  Metković - Korčula

Departure towards Korčula, the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo, also known as “Black Island“, due to the vast pine forests, that once covered almost the entire island. Surrounded by medieval walls Korčula Town resembles a miniature Dubrovnik, and is the only place in the world where the Spanish medieval knight’s game Moreška is still performed. Enjoy a stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town with your local guide, where you can find many konobas, restaurants, cocktail bars and night clubs. (B, L)

Day 7:  Korčula - Dubrovnik

Experience magnificent views enroute to our final destination, Dubrovnik. Before we tie the ropes at Gruž Port, cruise alongside Dubrovnik’s Old City Walls while lunch is served on deck. After docking, transfer to the Old Town for the guided walking tour of this magical town. Take the cable car from the Old Town to Mount Srđ for scenic views of the Walls and Elaphiti Islands. For those with more enthusiasm we recommend a walk on top of the 1940m long City Walls. (B, L)
