Carry-On / Cabin Baggage Allowance 

Hawaiian Airlines allow passengers to bring on board one (1) piece of carry-on baggage and one personal item within the following limits: 

  • 22" length x 14" width x 9" height (45 linear inches)
  • Maximum weight: 25 pounds (11.5 kg)

Personal items: purse, briefcase, laptop bag and backpack or similar items.

Checked Baggage Dimensions 

Domestic Flights

The following baggage fees apply to luggage that meet the below requirements:

  • Maximum Dimensions (length + width + height): 62 linear inches (157 cm) 
  • Maximum Weight: 50 lbs (23 kg)

International Flights 

International check-in luggage fees are assessed per piece, each way, and are non-refundable. International baggage rules will apply for entire trip, subject to DOT regulations that govern which airline's rules apply on a single ticket, including U.S. domestic segments regardless of stopover, providing the ticket includes at least one ticketed international point.


Excess weight and Oversize Fee

In addition to per-piece baggage charges, excess weight fees will apply to check-in items that exceed maximum weights.
In addition to per-piece baggage charges, oversized baggage charges will apply to items that exceed maximum dimensions.


Oversize calculation = (length + width + height) per checked piece of luggage
