For journeys to/from the U.S., the baggage allowances of the airline that ticketed the first segment of your travel should apply throughout your travel. For travel that does not involve the U.S., you should check with the operating airline for information about their baggage allowances; the other airline's baggage allowances may be more restrictive and you could be charged for extra baggage by the other airline.

* Weight of the articles may not be averaged out. This means that, should any of the articles exceed 32kg/70lb (Business Class) or 23kg/50lb (Economy Class), an extra charge will be incurred for excess weight - even if another article weighs less than 32kg/70lb (23kg/50lb in the Economy Class).

+ Aeroflot is entitled to change the free baggage allowance on some routes for certain periods.

Carry-on/Cabin Baggage Allowance

All carry-on baggage must be stored in the overhead baggage compartment or under the seat.
The overall dimensions of carry-on luggage for all classes of service must not exceed 115 cm / 45.3 in (55cm/22in,40cm/15.7in, 20cm/7.9in)
Business, Premiere and President classes: 1 piece of luggage weighing up to 15 kg / 33 lb.
Economy Class: 1 piece of luggage weighing up to 10 kg / 22 lb.
For business and Economy Classes on flights to Moscow-Cancun, 1 piece weighing up to 5 kg.
In addition to the carry-on baggage, one of the following is allowed:
- a women’s or men’s handbag
- a paper-folder
- a bunch of flowers
- a laptop, camera, video camera
- reading material
- infant food
- a baby seat
- an umbrella/cane
- a suit in holdall
- a cellphone
- crutches (if necessary on board)
- Duty Free purchases (1 shopping bag)
Carry-on baggage that you wish to take into the passenger cabin has to be shown to airline check-in staff (required for safety reasons).
Passengers who exceed their allowance will be required to check their carry-on baggage and additional checked baggage charges may apply.
Baby carriages (including umbrella-type carriages) are to be transported in the baggage compartment. Carriages are carried free of charge as excess baggage. You are welcome to use a baby carriage at the airport before boarding. Once boarding has been announced, you are kindly asked to give the baby carriage to the airport staff to be loaded into the aircraft baggage compartment.

Checked Baggage Dimensions

The overall dimensions of each piece of luggage for all classes of service must not exceed 158 cm (62 in) L + W + H. For children under the age of 2 years, 115 cm (45 in).

Sporting Equipment and Musical Instruments

The airline may have specific requirements and fees for transporting sporting equipment and musical instruments. Please check with the airline for limitations, transportation requirements and fee information.
