Cruise Itinerary

Day 1, Saturday:  Dubrovnik

You will be met at Dubrovnik Airport and transferred to Gruž Port, where MS San Spirito will be docked. You can board during the entire day. Welcome meeting will start at 1900HRS, where you will be introduced by Cruise Director to the Captain, crew and your future fellow passengers with whom you will spend a week onboard. Welcome Dinner will be served at 1930HRS. The embarkation will be possible throughout the day. Passengers arriving in the morning cannot enter their cabins before 1300HRS, but they can leave their luggage onboard. Captain will wait for all passengers arriving late at night and these guests will be provided with dinner. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (D)

Day 2, Sunday:  Dubrovnik - Mljet

After breakfast, our local guide and coach will meet us at the pier. We will visit the historical centre of Dubrovnik, famous town enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the guide will show you the most interesting sights. After the tour, you will be left on your own to explore the town, walk the City Walls or take a cable car to the top of the Mount Srđ with its stunning 360° vista. At 1200HRS we’ll have a transfer back to the ship. Lunch will be served onboard enroute to Mljet National Park, where we shall arrive late in the afternoon. Overnight in Mljet. (B, L)

Day 3, Monday:  Mljet - Korčula

This morning you are free to explore Mljet National Park (entrance fees are not included), walk around the Great and Small Lake, visit the Islet of St Mary with its Benedictine Monastery from the 12th century and take a swim in the heart of the National Park. With lunch served onboard, we will sail for the Island of Korčula, arriving there in the afternoon. Town of Korčula is the island’s main settlement and is known as the birthplace of Marco Polo, one of the world’s most famous explorers. A local guide will take you for a tour of Korčula Town, through its narrow and cobbled streets and its rich history. You’ll have rest of the evening free to enjoy dining at one of the local restaurants of your choice. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)

Day 4, Tuesday:  Korčula - Vis

In the morning, we will cruise to the Island of Vis, with lunch onboard and a swim stop enroute. Arrival to Vis is scheduled for the afternoon. Compared to other Adriatic islands, Vis is rather unique. Being an important strategic military stronghold for centuries, Vis was spared the excessive tourist development and thus retained its unspoilt beaches, ecological agriculture and traditional architecture. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the town of Vis, its picturesque stone streets, pristine beaches and fine family run restaurants. Overnight in Vis. (B, L)

Day 5, Wednesday:  Vis - Biševo - Hvar

Today, we will cruise to the nearby Island of Biševo and its Blue Cave, one of the most famous natural attractions in whole of the Adriatic Sea. Blue Cave is a water-logged cave that can be approached only by boat. Sunbeams penetrating through its submarine opening get reflected from the white bottom floor, creating a magical effect of deep aquamarine and shiny silver light, mystifying the cave’s visitors. However, sometimes high waves prevent the entrance to the Blue Cave, which is something we shall not know before the time designated for our visit (entrance fees are paid on the spot). After a swim stop and lunch, we will continue cruising along many coves and bays towards Hvar, the sunniest Croatian island. Hvar is one of the country’s most attractive tourist destinations and a meeting point of international jet set. Upon our arrival to Hvar, a local guide will walk you through this unique town, introducing you to its millennia-long history, culture and a way of life, along with few island’s peculiarities, such as the traditional farming of lavender. Afterwards, you'll have an evening on your own to explore and dine in one of numerous family owned restaurants and taverns. Overnight in Hvar. (B, L)

Day 6, Thursday:  Hvar - Bol - Pučišća

In the morning, we will cruise towards Bol, a place best known for its beach of Zlatni Rat, which regularly hits the top lists of the most beautiful European beaches. Once we stop in Bol, you can enjoy simple pleasures such as taking a walk around this nice Dalmatian town, perhaps having a cup of coffee or a swim, until lunch is served onboard. After lunch, we will continue cruising towards Pučišća, with refreshing swim stops enroute. Nowhere in the system of towns and villages in Dalmatia does terrain play such a compelling role as in Pučišća. Its spectacular irregularity of steep-sided natural harbour, authentic Mediterranean architecture and rustic ambience are simply unforgettable. The fjord-like inlet of Pučišća meets three narrow valleys that descend from the hills, joining the bay’s quiet and beautiful waters. Pučišća quarry was exploited by Romans in the antiquity, after which it was abandoned until the reopening in 1455. Stone from Pučišća quarry was used to build limestone columns of the White House in Washington DC, Vienna Parliament and many other famous buildings around the world. Pučišća is also home to the only Croatian Stonemasonry school. Its students carve sculptures from Brač limestone, applying traditional and unconventional tools that have been used here for centuries. We shall spend a night in this very quiet town. Enjoy the nightfall, as it unifies the distinct features of Pučišća that have intrigued us so much in daylight. Overnight in Pučišća. (B, L)

Day 7, Friday:  Pučišća - Omiš - Split

After breakfast, we will cruise across the Brač channel to Omiš, an ancient town with city walls, fortresses and stone churches. Omiš is located at the delta of Cetina River, with its wonderful beaches. For centuries, Omiš was a stronghold of famous pirates, a symbol of retaliation, courage and strength in the long historical fight against The Republic of Venice. After a relaxed walk in Omiš we will have lunch onboard. During the afternoon hours we will cruise on towards Split, our last stop. Local guide will do an afternoon Split city tour, walking us through the world-famous Diocletian Palace. Split is the second largest urban centre in Croatia and the seat of the Split-Dalmatia County. Over 1,700 years old, Split abounds with cultural and historical sights, lots of them situated within the Split’s historical nucleus which has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site List since 1979. After the city tour, you'll be left on your own to explore this lively and bustling Mediterranean city and to enjoy an intimate farewell dinner on your own. Overnight in Split. (B, L)

Day 8, Saturday:  Split

After breakfast, disembarkation by 0900HRS. You will be transferred to Split Airport. (B)
