Cruise Itinerary

 

Day 1, Saturday:  Split

You will be met at Split Airport and transferred to Split Port, where MS Captain Bota will be docked. You can board during the entire day. Welcome meeting will start at 1900HRS, where you will be introduced by Cruise Director to the Captain, crew and your future fellow passengers with whom you will spend a week onboard. Welcome Dinner will be served at 1930HRS. The embarkation will be possible throughout the day. Passengers arriving in the morning cannot enter their cabins before 1300HRS, but they can leave their luggage onboard. Captain will wait for all passengers arriving late at night and these guests will be provided with a dinner. Overnight in Split. (D)

 

Day 2, Sunday:  Split - Bol - Hvar

We start our day with a morning departure towards Bol on the Island of Brač, said to have the best beach for swimming in Croatia, Zlatni Rat. We will stop in Bol for a walk, or to have a cup of coffee and take a swim till lunch is served onboard. After lunch we will continue cruising towards the Island of Hvar, Croatia’s sunniest island, with a second swim stop in one of the many coves and bays along the way. Hvar is one of the most popular, tourist destinations and a meeting point for the international jet set. Upon your evening arrival to Hvar, a local guide will walk you through the town, introducing you to the history, culture and a way of life on the island. We will join a short lavender presentation, where you can learn how lavender was traditionally farmed on Hvar Island for centuries. Evening is free to explore and dine in one of the numerous family owned restaurants. Overnight in Hvar. (B, L)

 

Day 3, Monday:  Hvar - Mljet

We start our day with morning departure towards the island of Mljet with a swim stop along a way. Lunch will be served on board while cruising to Mljet National Park. Upon arrival to the Mljet National Park, you will have free afternoon to explore, walk around the Great and Small Lakes and Islet of St Mary with its Benedictine Monastery from the 12th century. We will have Captain’s dinner that evening on board. Overnight in Mljet National Park, (B, L, D)


Day 4, Tuesday:  Mljet - Elaphiti Islands - Dubrovnik

After breakfast, we depart for a cruise along the shores of Mljet and the Elaphiti Islands, where we will have a swim stop and lunch. We arrive to Dubrovnik in the afternoon, where our tour guide and coach will meet us at the pier. After an organised panoramic drive and photo stop with breathtaking scenery on a hill above Dubrovnik, the guide will show you the most interesting sights of the famous historical city centre, enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. After the tour, you will be left on your own to explore the city, walk the City Walls or take a cable car to the top of the Mount Srđ. Return coach transfer is scheduled in the evening or you can find your own way to the boat. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B, L)

 

Day 5, Wednesday:  Dubrovnik - Korčula

After breakfast we will start our cruise to Korčula Island with a swim stop. Lunch on board and afternoon arrival to Korčula town, on Korčula Island. Korčula is a city known as a birthplace of Marko Polo, the famous explorer. Upon arrival, our guide will do a short Korčula City tour, and walk us through narrow and cobbled streets. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy dining at one of the local restaurants of your choice. Overnight in Korčula. (B, L)

 

Day 6, Thursday:  Korčula - Makarska

After breakfast, we continue towards Makarska with refreshing swim stop on our way passing by Pelješac Peninsula and its picturesque places on both sides, green with the olive and pine groves, vineyards and the low bush forests and Eastern side of Hvar Island. Lunch is served onboard as we cruise by the cliffs and vineyards of Hvar's eastern shores, followed by an afternoon arrival to Makarska, often referred to as a tourist centre of Dalmatia, famous for its long beaches and nightlife. Evening is at leisure. Overnight in Makarska. (B, L)


Day 7, Friday:  Makarska - Pučišća - Split

After breakfast, we cruise across the channel to Brač Island towards Pučišća, the island’s biggest village, with authentic Mediterranean architecture and rustic ambiance situated inside a deep bay. Shiny, white stone facades rising amphitheatrically uphill make this place so unique and worth seeing. It is famous for its quarries from which stone was excavated to build limestone columns of the White House in Washington DC, The Parliament House in Vienna and many other famous buildings all over the world. The only Stonemasonry School in Croatia, where students carve Brač limestone with traditional and unconventional tools that were used for centuries is located here. After a relaxed walk, we will have lunch while cruising to Split, the second largest urban centre in Croatia. It is considered to be over 1,700 years old. Since 1979, the historic centre of Split has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site List. The historical and cultural buildings are located inside the walls of the Diocletian’s Palace. Our guide will do a walking tour through historical Diocletian’s Palace. Overnight in Split. (B, L)


Day 8, Saturday:  Split

After breakfast, disembarkation by 0900HRS. You will be transferred to Split Airport. (B)
