Cruise Itinerary

 

Day 1, Saturday: Dubrovnik

You will be transferred from Dubrovnik Airport or your Dubrovnik hotel to Gruž Port, where embarkation begins from 1200HRS. Meet your fellow travellers and your Cruise Director later at an onboard Welcome Reception. This evening, you can relax or take a walk through Dubrovnik’s vibrant streets.

 

Day 2, Sunday:  Dubrovnik - Mljet - Korčula

Start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, "The Pearl of the Adriatic" and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll visit the Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery’s Pharmacy before returning to the ship for lunch. Later, we set sail for the Island of Mljet and Mljet National Park, which encompasses five types of forests, many species of birds and two deep lakes, Big Lake and Small Lake. After time to enjoy the spectacular scenery, continue cruising to Korčula, believed to be the birthplace of the explorer Marco Polo. Dinner is onboard tonight. (B, L, D)

 

Day 3, Monday:  Korčula - Hvar

This morning, a walking tour of Korčula takes you through its narrow, cobbled streets and includes a visit to the majestic Gothic Baroque Cathedral of St Mark. Later, we cruise along the beautiful Island of Korčula, stopping for a swim if weather permits. Lunch will be served onboard enroute to Hvar, with arrival expected in the late afternoon. On Hvar Town sightseeing tour, see the first public theatre in Europe, older than Shakespeare’s Theatre in the United Kingdom, the Franciscan Monastery and much more. Your evening is at leisure in Hvar. You can explore more and dine on your own at one of the many restaurants in town. (B, L)


Note: Due to the limited capacity of Hvar Port during peak season in July and August, port of call can be substituted for Stari Grad or Jelsa. In that case transfer by bus will be organised to and from Hvar Town.


Day 4, Tuesday:  Hvar - Bol - Split

Cruise to Bol, home to one of the best beaches in Croatia, Zlatni Rat. This vast, golden, pebble beach is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Continue cruising to Split while lunch is served onboard. Upon arrival join a walking tour that will show off the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. Your evening is free in Split. (B, L)

 

Day 5, Wednesday:  Split - Trogir - Šibenik

Morning cruise to the town of Trogir, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your time is free to explore the town on your own. Lunch will be served onboard as we cruise to Šibenik, with a swim stop enroute. Upon arrival to Šibenik, a guide will take you on a walking tour, showing you the town’s highlights. Evening is at leisure. (B, L)


Day 6, Thursday:  Šibenik - Krka - Kornati - Sali

Šibenik area is home to two National Parks. Krka, with its breathtaking waterfalls and Kornati, comprised of more than 140 islands. Your day is devoted to these scenic destinations before we continue our cruise to Sali. Tonight, enjoy a Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment onboard. (B, L, D)

 

Day 7, Friday:  Sali - Zadar

If weather permits we will stop for a swim on our way to Zadar this morning, with a late afternoon arrival. Walking tour of Zadar will show you historical centre with the defensive walls built in 16th century, the ancient Port Gate where the Venetian Lion still stands guard, the Square of the Five Wells, Church of St Donatus, Roman Forum from the 1st century BC and the largest cathedral in Dalmatia, St Anastasia. Your evening is free in the city. (B, L)

 

Day 8, Saturday:  Zadar

Breakfast and disembarkation by 0900HRS. You will be transferred to Zadar or Split Airport. (B)
