Itinerary
Days 1 – 3: Sossusvlei
Transfer to andBeyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge, where ten air-conditioned stone and glass desert villas are cradled against ancient mountains and designed to capture the splendour and solitude of the desert. Furnished in hues of the desert, they feature a private veranda, split-level bedroom, living room with fireplace, ensuite glass-encased bathroom and outdoor shower. Villas are also equipped with a stargazing skylight, discrete music system and well-stocked personal bar.Activities available include nature drives, guided walks, an excursion to the Sossusvlei dunes, Sesriem Canyon and Dead Vlei, stargazing from the in-house observatory, petrified dunes and sand rock art.
Escape the desert heat with a revitalising midday dip in the pool, fed by water from an underground spring. At sunset, animals are drawn to a nearby waterhole, enhancing desert sundowner drinks. A fine selection of wines from an impressive walk-in wine cellar complements the delicious meals.
Day 4: Sossusvlei
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your onward flight. -

- Unless upgrading to a private safari vehicle (additional cost), only children aged 6 years and older are permitted on shared nature drives. The participation of those aged 6 to 11 years is at the discretion of the Lodge Manager. Age-related restrictions may also apply to other safari activities.
