Danielle has some good tips for you next trip across the Tasman, and recommends some must-sees in Melbourne and Adelaide.
May 2024, I had a personal holiday.
First up was Adelaide, this is a must see holiday destination – I stayed at the Adina Treasury which is in a great central location and you can walk to restaurants and shops. I did a full day wine tour to McLaren Vale visiting 3 wineries – this was so worth it especially experiencing The Cube at d’Arenburg a must-see winery. Last time I was in Adelaide I did the Roof Top walk around the Oval – wonderful experience and views.
Melbourne is always a great city to visit – great shopping and again stayed very central at the Mantra on Little Bourke Street so accessible to great restaurants and shopping. I visited the Shrine of Remembrance which was built to provide a place to grieve and remember Victorians killed in the First World War – a must see. The Melbourne Central Market was another great place to wander around and buy some moreish products plus purchase jewellery and other gifts.
