I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on a seven-day famil to Fiji, organized by Fiji Airways. As a travel agent, this experience was invaluable, allowing me to gain firsthand knowledge of Fiji’s offerings.
Each day was packed with exciting activities showcasing Fiji’s natural beauty and traditions. My personal favourites were river tubing and the Sigatoka River Safari. River tubing was an exhilarating experience, floating through pristine waters surrounded by lush rainforest, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.
The Sigatoka River Safari was equally spectacular. Traveling by jet boat to a local village, we were warmly welcomed and participated in a traditional kava ceremony. Learning about the Fijian way of life was a humbling and enriching experience.
In addition to these adventures, we conducted hotel inspections at various resorts. This provided valuable insight into different accommodation options, amenities, and services, enhancing my ability to recommend the best stays for future clients.
The trip also included indulging in Fijian cuisine and experiencing the renowned hospitality of the locals. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, reflecting Fiji’s commitment to world-class tourism.
Overall, this famil was an unforgettable journey. I am grateful to Fiji Airways and to Fiji Tourism for organizing such a spectacular experience. Being given this opportunity as a travel agent has been truly rewarding, and I look forward to sharing my insights with clients seeking their own Fijian adventure.
