We stayed in a beautiful Hotel in Canggu, the Como Uma Canggu which was right on the beach and I couldn’t have had a more lovely and relaxed Christmas Day. It was a stunning hotel.

We then travelled out to Lombok for a few days and wow. This is Bali 30 years ago, NO traffic and a much more relaxed experience. Our hotel Quinci Villas was amazing. Such a warm and friendly staff from the time we arrived it was fabulous. Our rooms were gorgeous, outdoor showers and only a short walk to the pool and beach.

The staff were so friendly and as I ordered a bottle of wine to drink over a few nights, the staff kept reminding me that I had the bottle there, it was so funny. Everybody seemed to know our name and the food was fabulous. Pre-dinner drinks overlooking the water at sunset was just fabulous and you could stay there an eat dinner if you wanted, or move into the restaurant. It really was a lovely time there and I would highly recommend staying there.
