My family and I visited Fiji in September.  We had a night either end of our trip at the newest resort in Fiji the 5 star Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa by IHG on Wailoaloa Beach.  An amazing property with endless pools, including an infinity pool with swim up bar and pool access rooms.  Also featuring a kids pool and kids clubs.  Plus lots of activities for young and old including smash the watermelon and pool aerobics.

We then went out to Plantation Island,  we arrived to be serenaded on to the island by the staff.  Plantation Island is an oasis for children, with several pools, waterpark and numerous water activities plus much more. So far we have swum, kayaked, tried out the Inflatable waterpark, tried fresh coconut water straight from a coconut and that was just day one.

We all loved Plantation island with so much to do.  We visited the underwater museum, paddle boarded, tried sailing for the first time, t-shirt tie-dying, made shell jewellery, saw a fire dance and just relaxed and read. The staff are so friendly and even though it was 93% full it didn’t feel crowded or too noisy, you could still find a spot to relax on the beach.

I also had the chance to have a look at the brand new rooms that won’t be in use until 2026.  They have 6 brand new 2 bedroom beachfront bures with a large window to look out to the amazing ocean views, outdoor shower and patio, plus 3 x 2 bedroom garden Bures.  Also coming in 2026 is a new lagoon pool and Mediterranean kitchen restaurant.
