Tracey Bluck (nee Crean)

With a mother who owned a travel agency, I grew up stamping brochures after school and hearing her stories from her travels for work, so it was only natural that I followed in her footsteps.  I have been in the travel industry now for over 30 years, starting straight out of university and with a few breaks for children.  I have been with Helloworld for the past 6 years, and when, halfway through covid, the previous owner decided to leave the industry, I made the (some thought crazy!) decision to take over Helloworld Travel Mt Maunganui in the middle of a pandemic.  I love helping our clients fulfil their travel dreams, and share their passion for seeing new places.  I have spent quite a lot of time in the USA, toured and cruised in Europe, worked in a pub in the UK, spent a month on exchange in Japan, and Fiji is my favourite close to home destination, so I can help with pretty much anywhere you want to get to!   I am also qualified as a Cruise Master, so am able to match you to the right cruise line for you, whether you are an experienced cruiser or new to cruising. 

My top travel experiences:

1. Driving from New York to Los Angeles through the Southern states of the USA, meeting some fascinating people.
2. Talking to a former prisoner of war of the Death Railway, while at the River Kwai in Thailand.

3. Visiting the Peace Museum at Hiroshima, Japan, and seeing the mountains of origami paper cranes left at the memorials.

4. Cruising through Provence from Avignon to Lyon on Uniworld River Cruises – the most relaxing way I have ever travelled!
